Miss Philippines-2015 winner was Miss Philippines Pia Alonso Wurzbach, but she was given the crown only on the second attempt: competition leader Steve Harvey mistakenly declared Colombian Ariadna Gutherez Arevalo the winner, who actually took second place.

Miss Columbia managed to get the crown and stand on the stage for a few minutes, sending air kisses to the audience live, when Harvey returned to the stage with apologies, writes “Voice of America".

The presenter apologized and took upon himself the entire responsibility for the mistake, admitting that he had incorrectly read the information on the card indicating which girl had taken the first, second and third places.

Miss Philippines stepped on the stage and stood next to a Colombian girl, which still wore a winner's crown. In the end, the crown was still put on Miss Philippines.

Such a leading error outraged users of social networks, but Harvey’s attempt to apologize on her Twitter only made the situation worse.

The fact is that the presenter wrote with errors the names of both countries, whose representatives took the first and second places, a little later the errors were corrected.

Third place in the contest took Miss USA Olivia Jordon.

As he wrote “Forum”, the owner of the crown “Miss Universe-2014” was named Colombian spokeswoman Paulina Vega.
