In Chicago, 4 adults and 2 children were injured as a result of gangster disassembly
On Saturday, April 6, a shootout took place at a children's party in Chicago. 6 people have suffered, 2 of whom are children, writes ABC News.
A 10-year-old girl and a 8-year-old boy were injured while shooting in West Englewood, the Chicago police department told Twitter.
Shooting broke out when two men in dark clothes approached the crowd and “opened fire,” said Anthony Guglielmi, director of communications for the department.
Arrows left the scene. They have not yet been arrested.
According to the police, the girl was injured in the shin and the boy in the chest and back. They were taken to hospital and are in critical condition.
Others affected between 23 and 42 years. Three of them are in stable condition. A woman, 29 years old, was injured in the chest and shoulder. She is in critical condition.
“We suspect this was a retaliatory shooting due to an earlier incident stemming from ongoing conflict between two gangs in the area,” Guglielmi said.
Investigators are looking for suspects.
