Ukrainian brand created a collection of clothes from American bags

Ukrainian upcycle brand non.Lbs presented his first clothing collection Let's Be Slow, the main material of which was American bags of the 1950s and 1960s. Read more about this publication Bzh.Life.

The mission of the brand is to show that it is possible to create clothes without overloading the planet with waste.

The collection includes unisex shirts, tops and shorts. Each item is hand-sewn and there is only one copy.

Since the collection is based on vintage bags, sandy color prevails in the color scheme. But there are also blue, pink, white and black, combined with bright prints.

The creators of the collection say that Let's Be Slow is a combination of classic style and bright prints. The Village.

The buttons for the new collection were made from other materials, the threads were bought from the socially responsible company Gutermann. Each item exists in one copy, and the remains were saved to sew other products.

“With our collection, we want to remind people that upcycling is the choice of a new life,” Non.Lbs explained.

When creating the collection, the brand team was inspired by real stories of people who in the 1930s in the United States during the Great Depression sewed clothes from farm bags, because they did not have money to buy things. When bag manufacturers found out about this, they decided to support their customers and began printing various patterns and designs on fabric.
