Regency Beauty Institute suddenly closed all its schools in the US

Regency Beauty Institute abruptly closed all 79 of its U.S. locations this week. The administration of the institute does not provide any comments, but the website states that the organization “does not have the money to continue doing business.”
Students, faculty and staff did not warn in advance about the closure of the institution. Jessica Allen, one of the teachers at the local school, said that there was not a hint of financial or other problems.
"Nothing. “Nothing at all,” said a resident of Tampa, where one of the schools is located. “Our campus even flourished. This is shocking."
A statement published on the website of the institute provides several reasons for the cash deficit: a reduction in the number of students, a negative characteristic of non-profit education given by regulators and politicians, and the inability to obtain prospects for funding.
Student Dory Farrell stayed one hour before meeting the requirements of the 1200-hour degree in cosmetology at school. The news of the closure told her friends.
“I thought they were kidding me,” she said. On Thursday she was supposed to have a graduation ceremony, which her relatives planned to attend. Instead, she needs to find another school.
Students who have taken federal student loans to study at the Regency Beauty Institute may contact the Department of Education of closed schools for cancellation.
