Representatives of Russia and Belarus were not invited to the funeral ceremony of Elizabeth II

A total of 500 foreign dignitaries are due to attend the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. Representatives of Russia, Belarus and Myanmar were not invited to the funeral of the monarch, which is scheduled for September 19, reports Hromadske.

In London, the event is called the largest diplomatic gathering held in the UK in decades.

In addition to the fact that representatives of Russia, Belarus and Myanmar should not be at the funeral, the Islamic Republic of Iran will be represented only by ambassadors.

High-ranking officials from all over the world will be allowed to take only one person with them. Most guests are expected to be taken by bus to Westminster Abbey from west London. An exception, according to journalists, was made only for US President Joe Biden. He was allowed to travel separately for security reasons.

The Queen's state funeral will take place at Westminster Abbey on 19 September. Before that, it will be possible to honor the memory of Elizabeth II at Westminster Hall for four days.

By the evening of September 13, the coffin with the queen remains in Edinburgh. After that, he will be airlifted to London.

On September 9, the new King of Great Britain, Charles III, delivered the first speech after the death of the Queen. The monarch promised to devote his life to serving the people and spoke about the changes in titles in the royal family.
