Tourists kicked off bus in Georgia for glorifying Russia

Three Russian-speaking citizens of Kazakhstan were kicked out of a bus in Georgia with a scandal for pro-Russian statements, calling them occupiers, reports LentaRu.

The beginning of the conflict was not filmed, but the operator mentioned that the quarrel with the passengers began because of the slogan “Glory to Russia” they voiced. In response, Georgian passengers in Russian asked the tourists to "shut up" and "go to your Russia." In addition, people on the bus began to insist that such a slogan should not be heard on the territory of Georgia. The Russian-speaking woman replied that she and her family had nothing to do with Russia, since they had come on vacation from Kazakhstan.

The verbal skirmish took on a new dimension when passengers called tourists from Kazakhstan "damned occupiers", mentioning that "the whole of Europe says that Russia is an occupier". Tourists tried to explain themselves and reminded about tolerance and the right of everyone to their own opinion and freedom of speech. “I told you, don’t you dare say that in Georgia!” - answered one of the local residents.

The driver then stopped the bus and ordered the three tourists to get out of the vehicle.

“No one needs you - neither in Europe, nor in America, nor in Georgia. Take away all such rotten Russians!” the passenger of the bus lamented. Russian-speaking passengers got out of the car under obscene curses and the slogan “Glory to Ukraine”, and in response they showed an obscene gesture to the camera.

Earlier in September, Russian tourists complained about the tightening of controls on the border with Georgia. It is noted that every day several dozen Russian citizens are denied entry. Travelers who came to Turkey by car through Georgia are worried about whether they can now return home.
