Incredible video: in Ohio, a car about a mile drove backwards on a highway
The transmission did not work in the car, so the driver had no choice but to drive backwards.
On a video taken by one of Ohio's Department of Transportation (ODOT) traffic cameras, a white SUV driver drove about a mile backwards on the busy X XUMUM number near 33: 6 on Tuesday morning, June 45. Then the vehicle crossed at least two traffic lights and headed back to the neighboring shopping complex.
Officials with ODOT said they were watching the area due to heavy traffic when they noticed that the SUV was driving in reverse. They suspected that the gearbox was not working in the car, so the driver had no other choice.
The distance that the SUV covered was 1,2 miles, and the duration of the movement was 4 minutes.
In ODOT they said that they were glad that no one was hurt, and if the car broke down, you should ask for help.
