The second in a week snow storm hit the northeast of the USA
A new snow storm is heading toward the northeastern United States, with heavy snowfall expected on February 13, just days after the region was hit by the worst storm of the winter, dropping 48 cm of snow.
While the northeastern states are struggling with snow, the southern regions are experiencing heavy rain, reports ABC News.
Weather forecasters promise that this is the last wave of the ruthless 2017 winter of the year.
The National Weather Service has issued a storm warning for the states of New York, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine, where snow is expected to fall to 41. In total, about 15 million people live in these areas.
According to weather forecasters, only in Portland, Oregon, can fall to 60 centimeters of snow.
Meteorologists warned of possible power outages, falling trees and dangerous road conditions.
Meanwhile, snowfalls in upstate New York began on February 12, now the storm is moving towards the District of Columbia and the state of Maine.

Snowfalls will be accompanied by strong winds, the speed of which can reach 93 km per hour.
A strong wind damaged power lines in DC, where its speed in some places reached 106 km per hour.
The storm led to the cancellation of flights at the airports of the affected states. As of 5: February 00 13 February Eastern time, more than 600 flights were canceled and almost 50 took off with a delay. Most of the flights were canceled at Boston International Airport; there, due to bad weather, no 300 flights took off.
