On the flight of a Russian airline mysteriously died rowdy: a criminal case

The investigative committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case after mysterious death of a passenger flight Moscow-Simferopol after the return of the aircraft Red Wings airline at Domodedovo airport.

The case was initiated under the article “Causing death by negligence,” but it is not yet clear to whom the charges will be brought, the newspaper writes.NEWS".

Witness of the incident Daria Belikova said that the passenger began to behave inadequately almost immediately after gaining an altitude by plane.

“We were literally in the air for about twenty minutes, the man started shouting: “We are all going to die!” The pilots are sleeping! Help! Raise your hands to stop the plane! Don’t you see that the plane is falling?!” The flight attendants ran up to him and began to calm him down, but he began to scream even more. There was panic on board because there were a lot of elderly people and disabled children,” Belikova noted.

According to her, in response to attempts to calm him down, the 31-year-old man grabbed the phone and began hitting his elderly neighbor on the head with it. Then he fell silent for a while, but the pause was short-lived - the passenger could not control himself. Neither his companion nor the crew could reason with him - he beat all the people approaching him.

“After the scream of his fellow passenger, everything got out of control, all the flight attendants ran there, they broke the man and tied him with belts. To be honest, no one saw his head broken,” Daria admitted, referring to initial information that the brawler eventually died from a head injury.

The aircraft commander decided to return to Moscow, where the police and an ambulance were waiting for the brawler. However, after landing, a tragedy occurred - the aggressive passenger died in front of the doctors.

According to preliminary data, doctors did not find “external signs of violent death,” which denies the initial version that the passengers went too far while subduing the air hooligan, breaking his head. However, it later became known that the man had a mental disorder, and on board he had a panic attack, which presumably resulted in heart failure, but doctors are still establishing the cause of death.

However, a criminal case was opened under the article “Causing death by negligence,” and the head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, took control of the investigation.
