A man from New York threatened to organize “Las Vegas replay”

FBI arrested New Yorker Victor Casillas for threatening to organize a Las Vegas-style attack on an office Ibotta in Colorado after the company caught him on the machinations with the bonus program.

Casillas allegedly sent representatives Ibotta photos of weapons and threatened: “Get ready for Las Vegas, part two,” reports NBC.

Law enforcement officials said no weapons were found in the house of the arrested person.

The incident began with the fact that Ibotta discovered that Casillas opened in his name in her application for the return of funds 15 accounts.

The first was on September 19, 2014, and there were 2016 additional ones in 2017 and 14 using different email addresses.

The company conducted an investigation and concluded that several Casillas accounts "represent a potential fraud attempt to get bonuses for connecting a friend."

At the beginning of 2017, the company tried to resolve the dispute by paying Xinyas dollars to Casillas and closing the additional accounts he had created. Over the next few months, the man created several new accounts. Ibotta conducted an investigation, determining that the new accounts are also an attempt at fraud, and 26 September reported to Casillas that his newly opened accounts will be deactivated. This day the threats began.

First, Casillas sent a letter in which he rudely informed the company employee that he wanted to know the name of his spouse, children and parents.

The next day, he sent another threatening note, sticking to it a photograph of two automata.

28 of September, 1 of October and 4 of October, the company again received menacing letters and photos of the weapon from the man.

The final letter read: “Get ready to repeat Las Vegas.”

The IP address from which the threats were sent, belonged to New York, Casillas, according to the documents, was a resident of this city. The FBI has arrested a man. He is accused of threatening people and companies.

Recall, October 2 Stephen Paddock killed a 58 man and injured more than 500by opening fire on the guests of the music festival from his room on the 32 floor of the hotel Mandalay Bay. After that, he committed suicide. The police still can not understand the motives of the gunman.
