'Brains almost leaked out': woman on plane had stitches on her head come apart due to pressure

A woman on TikTok named Veronica (@polish_99) shared her rather horrifying experience while flying. She posted a series of videos of how the back of her head 'exploded' on a plane due to cabin pressure. Yahoo.

The caption on the first video read: "POV: you are the flight attendant I just had to inform that the back of my head was exploding from the pressure."

As you can imagine, this caused quite a stir among her followers. Some blamed the doctor for giving her permission to fly so soon after the operation, while others wondered why she needed the operation in the first place.

What happened?

The woman is seen with a corset on her head and bruises on her face. Shortly before the flight, she underwent surgery, and due to pressure, the seams came apart. She said she was shocked by all this.

TikTok users were equally upset and dismayed.

According to Lad Bibl, "It didn't take long for people to start making assumptions, with some putting the blame on the doctor who found her airworthy."

Veronica quickly corrected them, saying: "I have unusually soft tissues and they swelled more than the average person, which led to some stitches coming apart on the plane in one tiny place."

At one point, she became so angry that she wrote: “My brain almost leaked out.”

The surgeon made a mistake

Apparently, the surgeon forgot to give her a certificate about whether she can fly.

One of Veronica's videos read: "Dedicated to the surgeon who forgot to give me my airworthiness certificate, so I was charged $100 at the airport just because my head exploded on the plane."

She added, "No hard feelings, he's actually a very nice guy!"

What operation did she have?

Veronica told a TikTok user, "I had cat eye surgery and a neck lift."

Someone wrote: “I'm sorry, but why all these operations? You are beautiful as is. Do whatever makes you feel good, but you don't really need surgery."

In the fourth part of her videos, Veronica explained: “I went to the toilet and I hear this loud “clap”. Right after that, I feel hot liquid running down my neck.”

It was blood, but there was also some yellow, foul-smelling substance.

Luckily, she is doing well and is recovering.
