Mexican military stopped a caravan of migrants on the border of Guatemala

A caravan of thousands of Latin Americans, mostly Honduran citizens, heading for the US border, turned around after they reached the Guatema-Mexican border on October 19 and encountered a large number of armed forces guarding it.

The group states that they will return to later try to cross the border again, writes Daily Mail.

Migrants claim that they did not change the plan of their actions, they simply faced obstacles that could delay them. At the moment they are in the border Guatemalan town of Teukne Uman and have already had several clashes with the police, several people were detained.
