The largest cinema chain has banned entry with large bags

In order to improve the safety of movie goers, the Cinemark network prohibits coming to view with large bags.

And although it has been almost six years since 12 people were killed in a theater owned by Cinemark, in Aurora, Colorado, many people remember this tragedy to this day. Some victims of shooting in Aurora filed a lawsuit against Cinemark, declaring that the tragedy occurred due to insufficient security measures.

The new policy Cinemark not new, given that similar rules exist in other leading theaters, as well as in sports stadiums and concert venues.

Network Regal cinemas, which also includes more than 500 cinemas in the US, states that all backpacks, packages and large bags must be checked. In addition, it is not allowed to come in a suit with a mask, paint on the face or any other object that covers the face.

AMC Theaters, the nation's largest theater chain, has a similar policy on costumes and weapons.

The same can be said about several sports venues and arenas for concerts throughout the country, so be sure to check the rules before attending the event.
