The American Jewish Committee responded to Putin’s accusations of Jewish interference in elections.

American Jewish Committee (American Jewish Committee — AJC) призвал президента России Владимира Путина «пояснить» его заявление о том, что российские этнические меньшинства, в том числе и евреи, могут стоять за попытками вмешательства в президентские выборы в США в 2016 году.

«Президент Путин, предполагая, что меньшинства Российской Федерации, будь то украинцы, татары или евреи, стояли за вмешательством в выборы в США, ужасно напоминает Протоколы сионских мудрецов», — говорится в микроблоге Twitter Committee.

«Ему стоит пояснить это заявление при первой же возможности», — добавили в еврейской правозащитной группе.

Если Израиль не выступит в защиту евреев, — никто другой этого не сделает вместо нас», — заявила Светлова.

US intelligence has concluded that the Russian government intervened in the US presidential election in 2016. The investigation of this case is now dealt with a special prosecutor Robert Muller.
