Sasha Obama, the youngest daughter of US President Barack Obama, got a summer job at Nancy's seafood restaurant, which is located on Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts.

According to the Boston Herald, Sasha, who uses her passport name as Natasha, is responsible for working the cash register in the order pick-up area and preparing the restaurant for opening for lunch.

“She worked on the first floor, and we couldn’t understand why six people were helping this girl until we found out who she was,” says one of the establishment’s employees.

The day before, Sasha was accompanied by six Secret Service agents - they were on duty on a bench near the restaurant and in a car parked nearby. After work, Sasha and her friend, who were wearing blue Nancy's T-shirts, brought out a tray of drinks for the intelligence officers, then got into the car and drove away.

This restaurant, as noted, has long been loved by the family of the President of the United States, since they annually spend their holidays on Martha's Vinyard island and are friends with Nancy's owner Joe Muzhaber.

“She’s been working for a few days now, everything’s fine,” says another colleague of Obama’s daughter.

Sasha spent in the restaurant, which is designed for 350 people, 4-hour morning shift. As expected, she will work there until Saturday, when her parents arrive here on 2-week vacation.

Barack Obama and his wife Michelle have repeatedly noted that their children will live a normal life after they leave the White House.

Obama's eldest daughter, Malia, in 2017, will resume her studies at Harvard after a year of academic leave.
