An Iraqi refugee told how she met an ISIS abductor in Germany

A few months later, in the town of Schwäbisch Gmünd, Baden-Württemberg, on the street a car arrived in which was Abu Hamam. He called the name Ashwak, and also said that he knows where and with whom she lives. According to the girl, he knew everything about her life in Germany.

Five days after this meeting, Ashwak turned to the police, but Hamam could not be found. A month later, she decided to move back to Iraq, where her sisters were waiting for her. Ashvak said she would never return to Germany again because she and her family are afraid of ISIS.

Now the Ashwak family is seeking asylum from the Australian authorities for a special program for women who have been abducted by ISIL.

An activist from the Hawar.Help organization, which protects the rights of the Yezidis, said that Ashvak’s case is far from the only one. The refugees had already told her several times that they had seen ISIS militants in Germany.
