In this case, it is best to calculate how much money you spend on providing for the animal’s needs per year, and multiply it by the remaining years of the pet’s life, plus add some amount to the medical care that will be needed due to the age of the pet.

You can create for these purposes a trust fund in the name of someone who will care for animals.

After you have found the person who will look after your pet and set a budget, you can either prescribe all the conditions in the will, or create a separate trust fund.

The option wills will cost you less, in addition, there you can indicate that the person who inherited your pet will receive money only if he agrees to care for the animals.

If you are leaving the animal more money than is necessary to care for it, it is better to create a trust fund that will provide the new owner of the animal with money as needed and control expenses. In addition, people will be able to donate money to this fund if they wish. But this option will cost you more in the paperwork process—it can cost thousands of dollars, depending on the situation.
