Yulia Tymoshenko announced participation in the presidential elections in Ukraine
The head of the Batkivshchyna Party and former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko officially announced that she will participate in the presidential elections in the country. This was reported on the website of the party Tymoshenko.

On participation in the presidential election, Tymoshenko announced at the congress of his party, writes Rtvi.
“We have no right to lose the next five years again, bringing to power those who excessively love money, but do not love Ukraine. That is why I am going to the presidency, ”said the politician.
Tymoshenko also said that the authorities in Ukraine call all the “recalcitrant" participants in the presidential elections "the hand of the Kremlin." At the same time, according to her, the Kremlin is interested in Ukraine having “devastation and chaos, corruption and poverty”, and the current government in the country is doing everything to turn the country into “ruins”.
At the congress "Batkivschiny" also showed the appeal of the former President of Georgia and the former head of the Odessa region, Mikhail Saakashvili, who supported Tymoshenko. Saakashvili said that Ukraine could become “a great country and a superpower” if Petro Poroshenko and “his gang” are removed from the presidency.
According to the January polls in Ukraine, Tymoshenko is leading among presidential candidates - 19,3% of respondents were ready to vote for her. The second place according to the polls was held by actor Vladimir Zelensky (12,9%), the third - the former Minister of Energy of Ukraine Yuriy Boyko (11,6%). Petro Poroshenko on the results of the survey ranked fourth (11,3%).
Tymoshenko participated in the presidential elections in 2014, but lost Poroshenko in the first round.
The presidential election in Ukraine will be held on March 31.
