As a result of an explosion at the TNG Kristall TNT plant in Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod Region, 79 people sought medical assistance, the press service of the Ministry of Health reported.

An explosion at the factory destroyed 5 buildings on the enterprise’s territory; glass was also broken in the 3 radius. In the city and the three townships introduced emergency mode, writes RBC.

“In-patient treatment consists of a 15 person, one patient is in serious condition, close to the average, 14 is of moderate severity,” the press service said.

The explosions in one of the workshops of the plant occurred on the day of June 1. After the explosion, a fire started, so far it has been put out.

Also turned out to be damaged around 180 apartment buildings. After the incident in Dzerzhinsk and three nearby villages, an emergency situation was introduced.
