In February, he was hospitalized due to heart and breathing problems. Prior to this, he several times canceled public events with his participation due to health problems.
Writer, editor and screenwriter Stan Lee is known as the creator of comics, including Spider-Man, X-Men, and Iron Man.
He served as chief editor, publisher, and later served as chairman of the board of directors of Marvel Comics.
The official account of Stan Lee published the years of his life and the word: “Excelsior!” - in the 60s of the last century, when Lee was just starting his career and wrote a monthly column in the magazine, he ended each article with this word. Since then “Excelsior!” has become something of a motto for the Marvel brand. This is exactly how the team completed Stan Lee's last "column" in this world.
