SpaceX has chosen the first ever tourist to go to the moon

The company SpaceX, convened by billionaire Ilon Mask, announced that it had chosen the first tourist to go to the moon on the Big Falcon rocket (BFR), writes Fox News.

On Twitter, the company wrote that the passenger’s name would be announced on 21 on Monday: 00.

“SpaceX has signed the first private passenger to fly around the Moon aboard the BFR, a major step toward providing access for everyday people who dream of traveling to space. Find out who's flying and why on Monday, September 17th,” the company said in a statement.

Also, a new image of the Big Falcon Rocket rocket has appeared. Musk explained that the rocket was specifically designed to resemble a rocket from the classic series of comic books "The Adventures of Tintin".

If all goes well, the unnamed passenger will be the first person to visit the moon after NASA’s Apollo mission in 1972.

As recalled in SpaceX, for all the time the moon was visited by 24 people.

In total, the astronauts carried out 6 man landing on the moon, while the manned missions to the Earth satellite itself were more than ten, but not all of them suggested landing a man on the satellite surface.

12 astronauts can boast that they have left their marks on the surface of the moon:

• 21 July1969 - Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, they spent on the moon 21 an hour 36 minutes (Apollo-11 mission);
• November 19 1969 - Charles (“Pete”) Conrad and Alan Bean, on the moon they stayed 31 hour and 31 minute (Apollo-12 mission);
• 5 february1971 of the year - Alan Shepard and Edgar Mitchell spent on the Earth's satellite 33 hours and 14 minutes (Apollo-14 mission);
• 31 July1971 of the Year - David Scott and James Irwin, they spent on the Moon 66 hours and 55 minutes (Apollo-15 mission);
• 21 April1972 - John Young and Charles Duke spent an hour on the 71 satellite and an 2 minute (Apollo-16 mission);
• 11 December 1972 - Eugene Cernan and Harrison Schmitt stayed on the Moon for 75 hours and 1 minutes (Apollo-17 mission).

The BFR (Big Falcon Rocket) rocket is the successor to the Falcon Heavy and, according to Mask, will be equipped with the most powerful engine in history that can deliver 100 team members to Mars.

The device should also be used for record-breaking passenger transportation on Earth - the BFR can cover any distance on our planet in less than one hour.
