In the House of Representatives of the United States will introduce training to combat harassment

In the next few days, a vote will be taken in the House of Representatives for a draft resolution, according to which all members of the lower house of Congress will have to undergo training on countering discrimination and harassment.

Earlier, the Senate has already approved a measure that requires all senators, staff and interns of the department to be trained in the prevention of sexual harassment, reports CBS.

These decisions were the result of several scandals in the public sphere, when stars and politicians were accused of inappropriate behavior, sexual harassment, assault and rape.

Among them were the producer Harvey Weinstein: Dozens of actresses and former female employees accused him of sexual harassment. After the producer was exposed, a wave of confessions of victims of harassment from other stars began, in particular, the accusations fell Kevin Spacey, Donald Hofffman, Steven Seagal and others.

In addition, the Republican Congressman from Ohio Wes Goodman resigned after he was caught having sex with a man in his office.

Harassment will also accuse a representative of the Republicans, a candidate for the Senate from the state of Alabama Roy moore.
