In New York, a teenager hijacked an SUV and killed three people.
A 15-year-old boy stole a Chevy Trailblazer SUV in New York state and lost control - as a result of the accident, 9 people were injured, three died, writes Fox News.
The 15-year-old is from Uniondale (Nassau County), located about 30 miles from Manhattan, hijacked an SUV, putting 9 passengers into it: 8 teenagers and baby. But the hijacker could not cope with the management, as a result of which there was a fatal accident. The victims were 13-year-old brother of the driver David Sanchez, the son of the owner of the SUV 15-year-old Marton Karbajal and 16-year-old Herbert Leo Avilles-Maravilla.
While driving, the driver constantly accelerated and violated the traffic rules on Long Island's Meadowbrook Parkway.
Two teenagers died at the scene of the accident, the third died in hospital from his injuries.
The driver and five more teenagers aged from 13 to 16 years and 18-month-old baby survived and are in the hospital with injuries of varying severity.
“The car flipped over several times and fell into a swamp,” said New York State Trooper David Candelaria.
Reported that the SUV Chevy trailblazer stolen on Thursday in the city of Roosevelt. It did not have enough seat belts for all the passengers who got there.
The police are investigating to determine how fast the car was moving.
