On which day the US roads become the most dangerous
According to the latest figures from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, fatal traffic accidents are on the rise.

Tuesday was the safest day on the road, and Saturday was the most dangerous day.
It's connected with new research Avvo, an online site that analyzed data from fatal accident reports on 2016 on weekdays, weekends and at different times of the day.
The analysis showed that on Saturday 6802 killed a person from 37 461 killed in a traffic accident that occurred in 2016 year. This was 53% higher than the 4 444 deaths that occurred on Tuesday, the day with the fewest deaths.
The second and third death days were also associated with weekends: Friday (5 826) and Sunday (5 809).
“We can see different trends across the country, with more drivers on the road at the weekend and being more careless and potentially reckless,” the chief executive said Avvo Jeremy Reitman.
The analysis also showed that during rush hours on the road is more dangerous than in the morning.
The deadliest time period was between 16:00 and 18:49 with 6201 deaths. That's 85% higher than the 3345 deaths that occurred between 7:00 a.m. and 9:59 a.m., the period with the fewest fatal crashes.
The second death period is recorded from 19: 00 to 21: 59 - 6067 deaths.
The main reason is drunk driving
According to the NHTSA, one of the main factors associated with fatal car accidents is drunk driving.
The security agency has discovered that in 2016, 10 497 deaths due to drunk driving were reported.
This means that 28% of 37 461 killed in a traffic accident in 2016 included drivers with an alcohol concentration in blood 0,8 grams per deciliter (g / dL) or higher, the legal limit for driving under the influence of alcohol in all 50 states.
Twenty-six percent of all drivers involved in fatal crashes at the weekend were drunk, compared to 14% on weekdays.
Another factor is speeding.
According to NHTSA, 2016 people died in the 10111 year due to speeding.
This represents about 27% of all fatal accidents.
