Large-scale wildfire rages in California: thousands of people evacuated
Wildfire Oak Fire, raging in Mariposa County (California), near Yosemite National Park, burned almost 12 acres (nearly 000 thousand hectares) and forced thousands of people to evacuate from settlements. Writes about it CNN.

California Governor Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency in Mariposa County after a fire forced more than 3000 people to flee their homes. The introduction of a state of emergency allows the use of additional resources to assist in the elimination of the fire.
