In Germany, convicted couple selling child abusers
The Freiburg District Court in Germany sentenced the mother of a 10-year-old boy to 12,5 years in prison for abusing her son and pimping on the darknet. Her partner was sentenced to 12 years. Five more men have been convicted in child abuse cases.

The 48-year-old woman and her 39-year-old partner, who is not the child's father, raped and abused the child and "sold" him for the same purposes to men abroad, the court heard. This went on for at least two years.
The couple was found guilty of raping juveniles with aggravating circumstances, forcing them into prostitution and distributing child pornography. In addition to the victim's boy, a three-year-old girl is recognized. It is not clear who she is a couple.
The convicts were obliged to pay thousands of euros (42 thousand dollars) to the children of 49. Five other men convicted in this case from April were sentenced to terms ranging from eight to ten years and payments from 12,5 to 18 thousand euros.
According to German media, a total of 60 cases of violence against the boy are currently being investigated - and almost all of them are related to the darknet.
What happened to the baby?
The boy's mother and her partner sold the sexual services of the boy, who lived in Staufen in the district of Freiburg, on an anonymous segment of the Internet - the so-called darknet. The rapes were recorded on camera and the couple then also sold them online.
According to the German edition of Watson, humiliation and cruel treatment of the victim were shown on the video. In particular, the boy was tied up.
The most evidence on the case was given by the partner of the mother of the child. In the process, which lasted two months, he called himself the main culprit. The woman almost did not tell anything about the motives of violence against her son. Psychiatric examination revealed her almost complete lack of compassion.

As zdf.de reports the words of a psychiatrist during the trial, the couple lived in a “socially difficult environment.” Since 1994, the convict lived only on state social benefits.
In a man, psychiatrists diagnosed aggressive-type pedophilia with sadistic disorders. He has already been convicted and spent more than four years in prison on charges of assaulting an 13-year-old girl.
Newspapers accuse family courts and officials
Many German publications criticize juvenile departments of the state of Baden-Württemberg, where crimes occurred, claiming that for a long time they could not stop the violence against the boy.
For example, in the school where the child was studying, they suspected something was wrong and appealed to social services, but for a long time they could not do anything. Social workers took the boy out of the family several months before the couple was arrested, but then they returned it. According to Watson, family courts did not interrogate the child and did not provide him with procedural assistance.
In addition, as Spiegel writes, the authorities and family courts did not share information and often worked against each other, which may have led to a greater number of crimes.
Now the child lives in a foster family.
Who else is convicted in this case?
Charges are now brought against eight people. Five people have already been convicted.
19 April The 41 year-old German was sentenced to ten years in prison and compensation in 12,5 thousand euros (14,5 thousand dollars).
