Universal will open a huge theme park in Florida: it will be very interesting there

Universal Orlando Resort is building one of the most exciting and most anticipated theme parks in the world today - Universal Epic Universe. What fans can expect from Universal's fourth Florida park, reports Courier Journal.

The plans have been closely guarded for years, but on January 30, Universal Orlando released the first official details about the future park.

“Universal Epic Universe marks a huge transformational moment for Universal Orlando Resort. “It will change everything,” said Universal Orlando President and Chief Operating Officer Karen Irwin. “This will be an exciting culmination of our amazing growth over the past 30-plus years and will transform Universal Orlando into a weeklong vacation destination filled with the most exciting experiences imaginable!”

What's coming to Universal Epic Universe

According to a press release from the resort, Epic Universe will feature five new worlds with “more than 50 spectacular attractions, experiences, dining and shopping.”

Celestial Park - this is the first thing that guests from all over the world will see when entering the park. There will be relaxing gardens, a 'water playground', a large carousel and Starfall Racers, a 1500m long, double launch racing roller coaster that can reach speeds of up to 100km/h. Celestial Park will be the gateway to four other Epic Universe worlds, accessible through themed portals.

Dark Universe will delight fans of Universal's popular Halloween Horror Nights. The Company says guests can expect to "encounter many surprises, from Dr. Frankenstein's experiments to a dark landscape where monsters roam a world of myth and mystery."

How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk will give fans of the How to Train Your Dragon franchise the opportunity to fly with their favorite dragons.

Super Nintendo World will draw guests into the fan-favorite video game franchise where they can enjoy adventures with Mario, Princess Peach and more.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic will become a completely new country that will combine the magical Paris of the 1920s from the Warner Bros. films. Pictures. Will there be a hotel in Epic Universe?

The recently announced Universal Helios Grand Hotel will be located inside Epic Universe, at the end of Celestial Park. It will have 500 rooms and its own access to the park.

The hotel is an addition to the previously announced Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort, which will open early next year.

What month will Epic Universe open?

Universal has not yet announced an opening date for Epic Universe, but says the location will begin operations in 2025.

Spanning 303 acres, Universal Epic Universe will be the largest theme park at Universal Orlando Resort.
