A video has surfaced online showing world-famous American singer Katy Perry's eye close involuntarily in the middle of a performance. She had to touch her temple several times to fix the problem, reports Obozrevatel.

Fans of the artist were afraid that she had health problems due to paralysis. The video went viral on the celebrity's TikTok fan account, where it racked up nearly 18 million views in a day.

The concert where the footage was shot took place on December 29, 2021 in Las Vegas, where the singer chose a bright stage image. The artist was wearing a sparkly dress, stylized as cans of carbonated drinks.

When the performer was applauded, one of the fans managed to take a close picture of the star with whom the embarrassment happened. Her right eye closed involuntarily while the other continued to stare at the crowd.

Katy Perry did not show her confusion and did not turn away, but only lightly touched her temple, after which her eye opened and “fell” again. Then the celebrity repeated the mentioned manipulation, blinked and her face returned to normal.

Some netizens suggested that this could be a consequence of the Covid vaccination or signs of paralysis, which the singer's colleague Justin Bieber recently complained about. “We have a “Pfizer smile”, and now a “Pfizer eye,” they wrote in the comments under the video.

Many compared the singer to a robot: “What kind of Android is this!”, “The robot had a malfunction,” “She lost her Wi-Fi connection,” “Mechanical failure! She even pressed the button to keep it open."
