Job Required: Which 10 states are leading in job creation in the country
In some parts of the economy, things are better than the rest. You may have heard President Donald Trump refer to the “American massacre,” or mention the rusted factories, seen in the background of the landscape, as “tombstones.” In some places this is true. But in other places you are likely to see people who drive Solowheels to their jobs with a six-figure salary, sipping aromatic coffee along the way.
Many areas in the United States, such as the Rust Belt, have lost economic value as a result of globalization. Others, mostly wealthy coastal cities, got more—but not necessarily at the expense of others. Jobs, money and opportunities have moved from state to state. It happened at breakneck speed and threw many communities off balance.
However, some states maintain stable economic growth. It is not even necessary for these states to have large, rich coastal cities. In a globalized economy, the ability to attract business and investment as a by-product of job creation is overvalued.
What are these states? By studying the data published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, we can determine the states where many jobs are created. In these 10 states, there was the largest increase in the number of jobs during the 2016 year, which helped to reduce unemployment.
Here are the 10 states that created the most jobs in the 2016 year.

Expanding mountain ranges, large freshwater lakes and lots of agriculture. Idaho is a largely rural state. It rounds out the top ten in terms of job creation in 2016. Employment grew 1,9% year over year.
