US President Donald Trump believes that the biggest mistake in the history of the country was the decision of former President George W. Bush to send troops to the Middle East. He said this in an interview with Hill TV 19 September.

“The biggest mistake made in the history of our country is the introduction of troops into the Middle East by President Bush. Although Obama (former President Barack Obama) made a mistake [by deciding on the withdrawal of troops], but in my opinion, introducing them there was the biggest mistake, ”said the American leader, quoted by Mail.ru.
Trump explained that the United States suffered too great losses in this region, both financial and human.
