Tornadoes and floods in the USA: at least two dead
Dozens of storms and tornadoes that hit the Midwest US 21 in May damaged several buildings and resulted in the death of at least two people.
According to weather forecasters, 22 may bad weather should subside in most regions, writes Fox News.
At the same time, the National Weather Service announced that another storm is forming, which could cover areas from Texas to Illinois, which have already suffered from the weather.
St. Louis (Missouri) was practically unaffected by a powerful storm, but the Cardinals baseball team canceled the game planned for 21 in May against the Kansas City Royals, as the buzz of a nearby storm could be heard in the city center. In Missouri, a tornado passed through a park of wild animals, damaging the buildings of the Wild Animal Safari near Strafford. There were no victims as a result of the incident, all the animals were saved.
The storm in Lucas-Oil Speedway in Hickory County destroyed the racetrack rostrum, which led to the cancellation of scheduled races for the weekend.

Referring to the deteriorating flood situation, Missouri Governor Mike Parson declared a state of emergency.
“We've had very heavy rainfall yesterday and today, and combined with already saturated soils and very high water levels on many rivers and streams, that's creating hazardous conditions across the state,” Parson said.

Near Joplin, Missouri, an 18-year-old woman’s car was washed off a flooded road on Monday and stuck there overnight until residents heard the woman’s screams for help. She received minor injuries.
The Missouri River is expected to reach flood levels by the end of the week.
In Oklahoma, there was also a flood, due to which officials closed the interstate 40 highway in El Reno. The National Weather Service reported that since Monday, five inches (13 cm) of rain fell in the region. In El Reno and Stillwater, many people are forced to flee their homes because of heavy flooding.

On Tuesday, passengers at Tulsa International Airport were moved to shelters for about 30 minutes, and many flights were either delayed or canceled.
Rescue services saved a man squeezed under a tree, said Tulsa District Emergency Management spokeswoman Kim McLeod. In Arkansas on Tuesday, the crews worked to rescue a woman trapped under a tree felled by a strong wind.
