After the completion of the 120 ban imposed by President Donald Trump, the United States resumed accepting refugees, but tightened the entry rules for asylum seekers of 11 countries.

Earlier, the State Department reported that family members of refugees from all countries will be subjected to additional verification procedures. In particular, they will be required to provide information about their family and information about the applicant's whereabouts for the past ten years.
