Sniper shot on tourists in Israel
Two Israelis who were making an excursion near the Dolev settlement (Benjamin district) were wounded as a result of shooting opened by a Palestinian sniper. The condition of one of the victims is characterized as critical.
According to the Magen David Adom Ambulance Service, another Israeli was injured of moderate severity.
Large forces of the army and police arrived at the scene.
The Kol Israel radio station reported that the fire was directed at a car in which there were Israelis. The victims are approximately 20 years old. Both were hospitalized at Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer.
The seriously injured Israeli was taken to the hospital by helicopter, and the second by car.
Dolev is a communal religious settlement founded in 1983. About 180 families live here. Located north of Ramallah - 20 kilometers from Jerusalem, 25 kilometers from Modiin and 35 minutes from Ben Gurion Airport.
