You can get a year of Gold Star membership for $60 and a $30 gift card to Costco, the world's largest chain of self-service club-style stores, reports Lifehacker.

Costco offers four different memberships: Executive, Gold Star, Business Executive and Everyday Value Business membership. If you don't have a business, then only the Executive or Gold Star options are suitable for you, since the latter two require some form of business identification, such as business licenses.

How to Get a Gold Star Membership

Executive and Gold Star membership gives you an additional family card that you can transfer to someone over 18 years of age who lives at your address. These memberships also allow you to use Costco gas stations (where you can save money on every gallon as a member) and access to some Costco services, such as eye clinics, hearing clinics and pharmacies.

The main difference between the Gold Star Membership and the Executive Membership is that with Gold Star you won't accumulate bonus points on all your purchases throughout the year, and the Gold Star Membership costs half the price (even less if you factor in the $30 gift card).

An additional card can be given to any adult “living at the same address.”

You need to join as a new member online at Online and register for automatic renewal of your annual membership. Then you'll receive a $30 Digital Costco Store Card . Just remember to enter code CJPROMO at checkout.
