A school in Florida invited children to avoid a queue in the cafeteria for $ 100

Parents were furious when they saw this form, and accused the school of classicism, because there are obviously children in the class whose parents simply cannot afford these expenses to buy a place in the queue, writes The New York Post.

Parents noted that it is unfair to give children the right to have a meal in the first place only because their parents have more money than the parents of other children.

It is noteworthy that the form was sent out on behalf of the PTSA School’s parent committee, which, however, has no right to take any decision without the approval of the institution’s directorate.

In turn, school director Brian Andrews noted that he did not approve the wording of the document and did not know about the point about avoiding the queue. He expressed confidence that the intentions of the parents were the best, but he condemned their idea, which violates the principle of inclusion, on which the school works.

The PTSA stated that the proposed "program" was a clerical error and released a statement saying that the proposal was indeed raised as part of a search for "innovative fundraising ideas" but was decided not to be implemented. However, the fundraising form was sent to parents due to a clerical error.

Parents were still outraged by the fact that the documents are sent without prior reading and verification.
