'Now is not the time': the premiere of the film about the hunt for liberals supporters of trump canceled

Universal Pictures has canceled the release of a film about the liberal persecution of Trump supporters called "The Hunt" in light of recent cases mass shooting in USA. Writes about it with the BBC.

In The Hunt, "elite" liberals hunt down a "bunch of disgusting people" (a phrase Hillary Clinton used to refer to some Trump supporters during the 2016 presidential campaign) and kill them for fun.

As victims, they choose those who oppose abortion or hold racist views. The film was declared satirical, but not everyone agreed with this definition.

“We understand that now is not the right time to release this film,” the studio said in a statement.

The Hunt's script is intended to reflect the disunity in American politics.

One of the film’s trailers was taken off the air of ESPN because it reportedly began with sounds reminiscent of an emergency warning system.

Trump expressed his opinion about the painting on Twitter without mentioning its title.
