For the first time in modern history, Russians reached the playoffs of the FIFA World Cup
The Russian team beat the Egyptian team at the World Cup. The second meeting of the group stage of the tournament in St. Petersburg ended with the score 3: 1.

According to Iz.ru The first goal of the match in the 47 minute was scored by the defender of the Egyptian national team Ahmed Fathi. Midfielder Denis Cheryshev doubled the advantage of the Russians in the 59 minute of the match.
After two minutes, striker Artem Dzyuba brought the score to a major. On the 73 minute, the Egyptians earned a penalty kick, which was implemented by striker Mohammed Salah.
Thus, the Russians for the first time in the modern history of the country reached the playoffs of the world championship. The last time the USSR national team left the group in the World Cup in 1986.
In the final match of the group round, the Russian team will meet with Uruguay. The match will be held 25 June in Samara. In the playoffs, the Russians will meet with a team from Group B, where they play Spain, Portugal, Iran and Morocco.
The cat Achilles living in the Hermitage earlier predicted the victory of the Russian team following the meeting.
From 14 June to 15 July 2018 of the Year in Russia passes Soccer World Cup. In cities that host matches, individual decrees on the sale of alcohol, flying drones, temporary registration and other will come into force.
Matches are held in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Yekaterinburg, Kaliningrad, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Saransk, Samara, Sochi and Rostov-on-Don.
