Russia is forced to take its diplomats out of Europe in a roundabout way and almost broke the world record for the duration of an air flight

Russia continues to withdraw its diplomats from European capitals. Due to aviation restrictions, the Russians are being taken over a flight along a very difficult and long route. Writes about it "Ukrainian Truth".

Spain and Greece sent Russian diplomats from their capitals, and Russia sent a plane to take them out.

The aircraft tracking service recorded that the Russian plane flew twice as long from Moscow's Vnukovo airport to Madrid as before, as it had to remain in international aviation space.

Spain and Greece made a one-time exception for the entry of an aircraft into their airspace so that the Russians could pick up their citizens, other countries did not make such exceptions for this flight.

The total flight distance was 15 km, which is only slightly less than the world's longest flight between Singapore and New York.

Departing from Madrid, the Russian plane circled North Africa and the Mediterranean coast, avoiding the airspace of Malta and Italy. After crossing Libya into Egypt, the flight turned north for the approach to Athens.

From Athens, the plane moved through Turkish airspace, because Ankara has not yet joined the air boycott. After leaving Turkish airspace, the flight continued to the east, avoiding the airspace near Ukraine.

Since other countries have said that Russian diplomats will also be or may be expelled, it is likely that Russia will have to make more than one such overflight in a roundabout way.
