Kurt Volker: 'Russia has been violating the Minsk agreements for four years every day'

US Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker said that Russia has been violating the Minsk agreements every day for four years, the publication writes.Today"with a link to the politician's Twitter page.

He noted that it was time to start moving on the path to peace.

“Four years ago, Russia signed a set of measures, in which the first point concerned the ceasefire from February 14. About a week later, Russia and its proxy forces captured Debaltseve. Since then, over the past four years, Russia has violated the Minsk agreements every day. The time has come for peace in Ukraine,” — Volker wrote.

The American diplomat also showed a fragment of a document signed by representatives of Russia, Ukraine and the OSCE.

Today marks the four years of the Minsk agreements. In Minsk on the night of February 12, Angela Merkel, former French President Francois Hollande, Petro Poroshenko and Vladimir Putin signed the Minsk agreements. And although during these four years not one of their points has been fulfilled, the parties continue to hold on to them, calling them unopposed.
