Drunk driver damaged 36 cars in a parking lot in New Jersey
A drunk driver crashed into a 36 car parked in New Jersey, causing thousands of dollars worth of damage.
Later, the police found a disoriented criminal, on the same street where he organized a pogrom, writes NBC.
22-year-old driver Miguel Aleman from Union City was accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, running away from the crime scene and other offenses related to the fact that he damaged dozens of cars on Bloomfield Street in Hoboken in 1: 30 am 25 July.
The police said they had received many calls to 911 with reports of vehicle damage, and later law enforcement officers found a white Honda 2010 of the year on the same street that they had reported during calls. The vehicle was severely damaged: the front window near the passenger seat was broken, and all airbags were deployed.
According to the police, Aleman could not keep his balance while standing on the street; he had a strong smell of alcohol.
In the car the men at the time of arrival of the police were two passengers. All three were taken to the hospital to assess their condition. After the driver was detained, two passengers remained in the hospital in an unknown condition. No one else was hurt by the incident.
Aleman, who was unable to undergo alcohol testing at the scene of the accident, provided blood and urine samples at the hospital for examination, after which he was assisted and released from the hospital. After that, he spent some time at the police station, from where he was soon released. Now he is awaiting trial.
