Assange, who has been hopelessly imprisoned in the embassy since 2012, had his network restricted in March this year after “interfering in the affairs of other countries,” Ecuador said in a statement.

In the list of rules submitted to Assange this month, Ecuador warned an 47-year-old man to provide the best care for a cat with whom he lives in the embassy, ​​or to send an animal to a shelter.

Assange is at the embassy after seeking asylum there to avoid extradition to Sweden on charges of rape. He claims that the charges were politically motivated and could lead to his extradition to the United States for publishing secret American military documents and diplomatic mail in 2010.

Sweden later discontinued the investigation.

Recall that Assange promised to leave the embassy of Ecuador in London four years ago.
