Trump Jr. led a secret correspondence with a group of Assange WikiLeaks

According to "Voice of America", President Donald Trump's son posted a series of private messages sent to him from his account WikiLeaks on Twitter during and after the 2016 election campaign of the year.

A few hours before the American edition The Atlantic reported that she had access to the correspondence of Donald Trump Jr. and WikiLeakswhich lasted at least until July of the year 2017. The correspondence was handed over to Trump Junior’s lawyers and to the Congress’s investigative committees.

Having published the correspondence, Donald Trump Jr., apparently, tried to diminish its value by tweeting: “This is the whole exchange of messages with @wikileaks (including three of my answers), one of the committees of the Congress decided to allow for a leak. What irony!

It seems that trying to get on Trump Junior was part of the effort. WikiLeaks to publicize yourself and the founder of the organization, Julian Assange.

Although Trump's son ignored most of the tweets addressed to him, he did answer three.

In one case, when WikiLeaks asked him who was behind one of the antitamp sites; Trump Jr. replied that he would “look around.”

In another case, Trump wrote: “It's amazing that she can go unpunished” when WikiLeaks mentioned the statement of Hillary Clinton that she wants to "strike with the drone" on Assange.

In the third response, Trump Jr. complained about the media’s “corruption and hypocrisy” when WikiLeaks suggested he persuade his father to publish a benevolent tweet about WikiLeaks.

The American intelligence community believes that WikiLeaks was chosen by the Russian government to disseminate information obtained as a result of hacker actions, actively engaging Trump Junior. WikiLeaks made a number of requests, including asking for Donald Trump’s tax returns, called on Trump’s election day campaign to reject the results of the will on the grounds that they were allegedly falsified. Besides, WikiLeaks asked the US president-elect to recommend that Australia appoint Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, as ambassador to the UN, the newspaper reports.

In response to the publication, Democratic lawmakers called on Trump Jr. to provide more information. Senator Richard Blumenthal tweeted: "These reports appear to indicate that President Trump's son was actively involved and may have coordinated strategy with a known Russian government operative." WikiLeaks. We cannot know the full extent of this correspondence unless [Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck] Grassley subpoenas it."
