Restaurant visitors left a $ 1200 waitress tip
The Middlesex District waitress was shocked when she learned that visitors had left a huge tip for her.
Brianni Siegel, a waitress in Bar louie at Woodbridge, she says it’s not always easy to serve visitors, but she’s optimistic.
Friendly attitude Siegel did not go unnoticed on Tuesday evening, August 22. That night, she served a couple she had never seen before.
“I talked to them, they are really good people. We laughed,” she says.
After dinner, the couple left $ 20 as a tip, and then handed the envelope to Siegel and asked her to open it only at home. Siegel put the envelope in the apron and continued to work. When she opened it at home, she almost fainted.
“I looked and saw a check written out in my name for $1200... I just ask myself, why me?” she says.
The restaurant's general manager says this couldn't help but happen to a wonderful person. “She is always ready to help. She's been an incredible employee for us,” says Brent Ruckkamp.
Siegel plans to set aside money for nursing school education, as well as invest in a new car.
