Buyers pay $ 35 per hour to those who stand in line for a black Friday

Interesting bargain hunters are willing to pay people up to 35 dollars an hour for what they stand up for in Black Friday.

Millennials who have money, but do not have time, are not ready to spend several hours standing in a queue, so they are willing to pay generously for these services, writes Daily Mail.

Some entrepreneurs who have created companies that provide services for standing in line, say they are going through a busy season.

“People don't have much time. It's a service that really helps them do what they want to do,” explained Jennifer Goff, founder and CEO of Skip the Line.

Goff began its work in June 2017, when a bar based on Game of Thrones was opened in Washington, DC.

Fans immediately created huge queues near the restaurant, and people had to wait for hours to get to the bar. Goff, who noticed this, decided to build on this business.

“I approached people and told them that if they wanted, I could stand in line for them. And at this time they can drink or eat somewhere. I will keep them informed of the progress of the line through text messages and photos,” Goff said. The idea worked, and now the woman is building a business on it.

The most famous company in this industry is Same Ole Line Dudes in New York.

Darren Hromadka thought about this business when he found out that his colleagues in Omaha, Nebraska were paying college students for holding places for them at the annual meeting with Warren Buffet.

About 40 000 people attend this three-day event of the billionaire every year. Some people even wake up before dawn to take good places to meet Buffett.

Hromadka decided that he needed to find a way to unite people who want to take a favorable place in the line, and people who are ready to do this work for them. Building on this idea, he created the application InLine4You. The participants in it are divided into hoppers (those who need a place in the queue) and spotters (those who are willing to keep this place for hoppers).

Hoppers can send requests for standing in line to the application, indicating how much they are willing to pay for this service, and spotters choose applications that interest them.

The average price for this service is about 25 dollars per hour. When the hopper comes to the event and takes the place that the spotter held for him, InLine4You processes the payment. The application Chromiums in the United States downloaded about 22 000 people.

Another entrepreneur who created an application called Same Ole Line Dudes is busy at certain times of the year. He said that tourists are flooding New York during Broadway events and are willing to pay for standing in line to purchase them. At other times, the company provides services of standing in line for various events, sales, etc.

Skip the Line and Ole Line Dudes work on the same principle, but have different cost of services.

Skip the Line charges about $30 per hour for most events; and Ole Line Dudes are a minimum of $45 for two hours.

Both companies have variables that can lead to price increases, including bad weather, event popularity or delivery (in the case of purchasing tickets, etc.).

Standing in line is associated with a lot of free time and patience, so the work is ideal for students and pensioners.
