Without cashiers and queues: Walmart has introduced the latest technology for buying toys and equipment

This holiday season, Walmart customers will be able to use the store’s digital card to find the toy or equipment they are looking for, and then make a purchase right in the department where they found the right product, without having to stand in line at the checkout.

Starting in November 1, shoppers will be able to avoid queues at the box office and use a credit card to shop at Walmart’s busiest departments. Employees of these departments on the spot will accept payment from the buyer and hand them a check, writes USA Today.

Buyers also do not have to wander around the store in search of a sweater, game console or any other product they are looking for. By the beginning of November, a map will be created in the Walmart application; when you start it at any outlet in the network, you will be shown the exact location of the necessary goods.

The festive season is the most important time of the year for retailers, and stores compete for each customer, making shopping as convenient, simple and fast as possible.

Target and Walmart also compete with online giant Amazon by leveraging their store networks, an asset Amazon has virtually none of. Walmart will host 190 holiday events at its stores, ranging from toy displays to photos with Santa Claus, from Nov. 000 through Christmas.

It will be the first holiday season for decades without the Toys R Us network, and Walmart, the largest toy retailer in the country, has already announced that in some stores expanding toy departments, retailers also plan to sell more toys on the Internet at 40%.

Walmart.com will have a section on holiday discounts, as well as gift tips and holiday offers in online centers focused on clothes and household goods.
