Own dates of birth helped the couple win the lottery
A young couple (about thirty years old) from the Southern District of Israel recently won 28 million shekels ($7,3 million) in the national Lotto lottery. The husband was the first to know about the win, checking the form the next morning after the drawing.
“I called my wife, but she didn’t answer, so I sent her an SMS hinting that we had won a nice lottery win,” he said.
“I was walking around the shopping center with my children and didn’t hear the phone ringing,” my wife said. “But when I received the SMS, I immediately called my husband back. He whispered about winning. I managed to remain calm, although I had to bite my lip to do so. We agreed to meet at the entrance to Mifal HaPais (lottery office - ed.). I took a taxi and went to Tel Aviv."
Her husband was waiting for her at the entrance to the main building of the lottery. They embraced and, joyful, went inside for a check.
This young couple lives in a rented apartment with two small children. “First of all, we will buy an apartment,” they said about their plans. We’ll put the rest of the money in the bank and think about what to do next.”
For the lottery ticket, they paid 64 Shekels (17 dollars). And the numbers on the form have not changed for more than a year. Sent the same. And they were right. After all, these are magic numbers for them: the birthdays of each family member, who have now brought financial success.
