Nostalgic Christmas from Microsoft: the company created sweaters with images of its iconic products

Six years ago, Microsoft began a tradition of adding limited edition “ugly Christmas sweaters” to its store on the eve of the Christmas holidays, which are dedicated to any of the company’s products. This year's "awful" Christmas sweater theme is the "Carefree" Windows XP desktop wallpaper, reports UkraNews.

The designers depicted an illustration of the well-known wallpaper along with the mouse cursor, which is located in front.

The sweater is 55% cotton and 45% acrylic. According to the description, it will return the owner to the era of Minesweeper, Internet Explorer and low-rise jeans. One of the recommendations for caring for a sweater is “never take it off.”

For Microsoft, this “ugly” Christmas sweater is already the sixth in a series. Every year, the company chooses a recognizable product and bases a sweater design around it: in 2018 and 2019, these were the Windows 95 and Windows XP operating systems, and since 2020, the sweaters feature familiar Microsoft applications.
