Republican congressman invited Zelensky and Putin to Arizona for peace talks

The letter addressed to the two heads of state was published on the congressman's Twitter page.

“I am not a diplomat. But I cannot remain silent any longer, because death and destruction not only continue in Ukraine, but are funded by my own country. I am compelled to invite Presidents Putin and Zelensky to Arizona to begin negotiations to de-escalate nuclear tensions, end the war, and stop the sad death and destruction that is hurting both countries,” Gosar writes.
If there is not one leader in our politics or our military who will attempt to end this war without unthinkable global death and destruction, then I must.
