Russian pianists go with a grand concert in the USA

3 December in 20: 00 on the illustrious stage of Carnegie Hall will host a joint concert of famous young pianists Nikita Galaktionov and Azamat Sydykov, who managed to conquer the hearts of classical music fans around the world. Continuing the best traditions of the Russian performing school, they have the courage not only to follow, but also to transform its principles.

The program includes rarely heard works by A. Rubinstein, P. Tchaikovsky, M. Balakirev, A. Scriabin, S. Lyapunov, S. Prokofiev.

After completing his studies at the Moscow Conservatory, where he was fortunate enough to be a student of the great Nikolai Petrov, he continued his education in the Paulina Dokovska class at Mannes College. Now lives in New York. She gives a lot of concerts in the USA and teaches. Twice had solo concerts at Carnegie Hall. In the summer of 2016, he headed the Kyrgyz American Foundation created on his initiative.

Nikita - only twenty-one. He is a native Muscovite. Possessor of absolute pitch and phenomenal musical memory. Mom Tatyana Sukhacheva is the creator of the Roman Viktyuk Theater and the Russian National Orchestra conducted by M. Pletnev. Dad Georgy Galaktionov is a former bass guitarist, now an entrepreneur.

A graduate of the same Central Music School. In the last grades, he moved to the class of Arkady Sevidov, professor of the Moscow Conservatory and laureate of the Tchaikovsky Competition, with whom he still studies. Rare mutual understanding unites teacher and student. They like to perform concerts together. They successfully performed with the program “The Maestro and His Disciple” in Rome, Prague, Milan, Tallinn, Vilnius, Vienna, and Yekaterinburg.

Exceptional attention from the musical public (over half a million views on forumklassika.ru) caused the appearance of Nikita Galaktionov’s video “Dreams of Love” in 2014.

These are his own feelings from the brilliant music of Franz Liszt, which he, an 18-year-old boy dreaming of love, embodied both as an actor and as a performing musician.

At 2015 at the Moscow International House of Music, one and a half thousand listeners applauded the performance of Nikita's Fourth Concerto for Piano and Orchestra by Anton Rubinstein.

And in May, 2016, at the invitation of the Presidential Orchestra, he performed in the St. George Hall of the Kremlin. Under the historical arches sounded the second concert of Sergei Rachmaninoff.

For Nikita, December last year was marked by the release of his disc The Best and participation in the AFAF festival, held on the stage of Carnegie Hall. His first performance on the most famous stage of the world was marked by the award of the Certificate of Excellence and the following publication:
