Clinton Trolls Trump Speaking at Yale

Ex-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton 20 May spoke at a graduation ceremony at Yale University.

In the course of her speech, she told about her achievements, troubles and could not resist trolling US President Donald Trump, who lost the election in 2016, writes Daily Mail.

Between the congratulations of the new graduates and the holiday jokes, Clinton admitted that she still didn’t completely withdraw from the loss in 2016, and expressed concern about the state of the country.

“I didn’t let it go. I still regret the mistakes I made. Today, as a person, I'm fine. But as an American, I am concerned,” the politician said.

At some point, Clinton pulled out a Russian fur hat with earflaps, as a reminder of the election debate in 2016. She explained that she brought a headdress, following the long tradition of the university, when, during graduation, students choose a variety of headgear, this tradition goes back several centuries.

“Russian hat... I mean, if you can't beat them, join them,” Clinton explained, hinting at suspicions of Trump's ties to the Kremlin.

A future Democrat politician visited Yale University for the first time in the fall of 1969, as a graduate student.

Clinton was one of the 27 women who were enrolled in a prestigious college during the first year of accepting women to Yale.

During the speech, the ex-Secretary of State spoke about how she chose between Harvard and Yale Law School.

“I had trouble choosing between Yale and Harvard Law School. One day during this decision period, I was invited to a cocktail party at Harvard for potential law students, where I met a renowned law professor,” she said.

She further explained how the professor told her that Harvard Law School no longer needs women.

Hillary met Bill during her second year at Yale.

“I was walking through the student lounge with some friends and I saw this tall, handsome guy with a beard who looked like a Viking,” Clinton said.

When asked about who this guy is, a friend told her that it was "Bill Clinton from Arkansas who constantly talks about his home state."

In addition to meeting with Bill, Yale, according to Clinton, gave her an acquaintance with several teachers and students who "changed her life and career for the better," with many of them she worked during her political campaigns.

“Yale has been home to me for many years. A place where I return again and again,” Clinton said.
